Introduced significant controls on public assemblies, notably sections 14A, 14B, 14C added in 1994 by the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 to control raves and "free parties".

Part 3 (Racial Hatred)

  • S17 Defined Racial Hatred
  • S18 - S22 Prohibiting acts likely to stir up racial hatred
  • S23 - S25 Outlawed racially inflammatory material; introduced power of entry, search and forfeiture.
